My nails are my special little babies, I cry and whine when they are short (which is mainly the case) and act all cool and showy offy when they are longer. I've begun to treat myself every two weeks to a gel mani and once a month to a pedi. It's kind of my way of spoiling myself. So last night I went to my fav nail salon, Eminence Nail and Spa and got my nails done. They have so many wonderful colors available in the gel and I always get so overwhelmed and indecisive about what color to chose. Lately I've been loving this purple/grey color but I never like to do the same color twice in a row. This time I chose to go light purple/lavender-ish with my go to style of one nail different.

I guess I didn't expect it to be so springy but I do love it. It's not as bright as the above picture, so it isn't so loud. I think the girl that did my nails wanted to kill me because I had chosen a sparkle color for my ring finger and then I was like no no no...I kept changing my mind like always. I had originally planed to go with this mauve color I adore, but like always I end up going with my last minute idea. (I got a new girl this time and I think she was in a bad mood because she didn't talk to me or smile. Normally I know all the sweet nail ladies and they love to catch up, but "mandy" was obviously pissed about something.) Oh and the lady next to me was getting a massage and I was sooo jealous. But the owner Tim came by and treated me to little shoulder rub!
So, that is my little nail rant for the moment. I need to get back to work...shh don't tell. Sadly I'm so very unmotivated this monday morning. I'm going to blame it on the nasty rainy weather (that we've had ALL weekend long). I want to leave you with two other nail pics to enjoy. Happy Monday! -L
